Our Story: Built on Care, Safety, and Late Nights

A project that grew alongside Lea

I started building Vivaly when I was seven months pregnant. Today, Lea is nine months old, and Vivaly is ready.

I built this platform myself, piece by piece, in the quiet pockets of early motherhood. Some days I only had five minutes between naps; some days I somehow carved out two hours. There were moments of total frustration where I had to scrap everything and start from scratch, but I loved every single bit of the learning process. As a South African living in Australia, I don't take this kind of opportunity for granted. Building something that can genuinely help families is a true privilege.

Why Vivaly? Safety shouldn't be an afterthought.

Back home in South Africa, safety is a constant awareness you carry with you everywhere. When you become a parent, that protective instinct only magnifies.

When looking at how we find care for our children, I realized something fundamental needed to change. I didn't want a platform where safety was just a baseline assumption, or where parents had to rely on casual public group chats to find someone to look after their entire world.

I wanted to build a space where reliability is tangible, tracked, and actively rewarded. A place where trust is absolute because every single certification is rigorously verified, and care standards are consistent rather than a gamble.

Instead of navigating a clinical system alone or paying for isolated one-on-one care, Vivaly Pods allow you to form a small, familiar care circle with nearby families in a warm home environment.

Your child sees the same caregiver every week, building deep connections with a tiny group of up to four local friends. Because you share the care with another local mum, the cost is beautifully divided, making premium, verified care genuinely affordable without ever compromising on safety or focused attention.
